The Park County Local History Archives celebrated May, historic preservation month, and our new facility with a special open house May 22, 2009.  Several visitors stopped by to see the facility and do some research.

Oral History Workshop
June 24, 2009

On June 24, 2009, the Park County Local History Archives conducted an oral histories workshop in collaboration with the South Park Historical Foundation and the Park County Historic Preservation Commission.  Participants learned how to prepare to conduct an oral history as well as to do the oral history.  Some time was allowed for practice.  Participants can use their training for their own purposes or to assist the Archives with oral histories.
