YOU CAN HELP!!!

In 2001 the Park County Local History Archives began our collection in a small area in a building in South Park City Museum.  Since then we have grown to the point that we have moved twice to larger facilities and now have out grown the present one.

Park County is planning to construct a new library in Fairplay and the Archives is included in the plans.  The land and architect have been selected so the project is moving forward with late 2010 or early 2011 the completion date.  The proposed new Archives facility will be climate controlled with separate rooms for patrons, staff and storage.  Because we are a small all-volunteer, nonprofit organization our financial resources are limited, and your support is very important to be able to secure the matching funds to make the new facility a reality.  Please help us in our commitment to continue preserving the history of Park County.
